This is a lovely neighborhood with wonderful walk ability to the Eastown shops and restaurants. The mature trees and rain garden show how thoughtful the neighbors are about being part of an urban green space. Perhaps Gladstone with this highlighted area only could be considered to move from SFR to MFR zoning. It would only

As with the other areas listed, working on the infrastructure to better support active transport (walking, biking, scootering) between Eastown and Gaslight will only benefit businesses and services in both areas by allowing more natural foot traffic (and increasing revenues), easing traffic congestion, lessening noise pollution and air pollution and improving accessibility for all.

I’m not clear on the challenge to this area or what the City could do. It’s densely residential, admittedly with awkward alleys, but otherwise occupied. Would any plan for this are involve only streets and sidewalks, or rethinking the housing as well?
