It is critical that any major development in gaslight village draws individuals that appreciate and are invested in the community. Rental units should be kept to an absolute minimum. Expansion of housing options should be more focused on condominiums and town homes. Whatever is developed will also ultimately draw upon our public safety department so it is very important we continue to have enough officers to adequately patrol the entire city and not just be focused on the city center. Lastly, public facing or road facing areas there should not be giant concrete parking lots. The existing D&W complex goes against this premise.
