I enjoy driving through, shopping, and using the businesses in Gaslite several times a week. The large paved parking lot near D&W is useful BUT could be so much better looking and more ecologically functioning with a thoughtful re-design. It should have trees, more planted areas and provision for efficient snow clearance (including some way of minimizing buildup of snow”mountains”). I’d like to see this area contribute to the charm of the streetscape rather than be the downer it is at present.
