If the property comes up for sale, I would absolutely love to see the buildings preserved (there is the school, rectory and convent). All are very solid and architecturally pleasing with varied period focal points. Perhaps condos, townhomes, or even a special EGR school (like a lab school).
If the buildings are not for sale, perhaps they could be re-developed into rental offices and studios (of course it would take some marketing and amenities (gym, micro-parks) to attract tenants).
For me, the worst-case scenario would be for the buildings to be razed. They are attractive and a community fixture and I hope they can be put to great use again.
