I have lived in the Greenwood and Lovett are for 35 years now. I now own a home on Lovett. I completely realize that we always need progress, but the scope and scale to which this development is extremely detrimental to the peace and quiet of our quaint neighborhood. I am vehemently opposed to the taller buildings that are on the table at this time. I realize a few 2 to 3 story buildings are necessary, but anything beyond that is going to affect this neighborhood in a negative way: traffic congestion, parking issues, noise issues, safety, crime etc. This brings a whole host of things to this quaint, village area. I feel the traffic is already an issue even before this huge development. This will all be going on in my backyard literally. It has honestly forced me to think seriously about having to move away. I truly do not want to do that, as I have loved living in this neighborhood all of my adult years. I know all of my neighbors feel exactly the same way that I do, so please reconsider the huge scope of this project and perhaps tone it down quite a bit. We also want to maintain the integrity of the lake and nature in this area; this will certainly taint what vestiges of nature still remain.
