Overcrowding concern

We are very concerned with the increase in population that could happen if all of the buildings and residences are approved on the old Ramona Medical Center site. It is slated to have a higher population density than already exists in the rest of East Grand Rapids. Currently, there is a lack of free parking in Gaslight Village. Greenwood is lined with parked cars daily as is Lovett.
When we were doing renovations to our home, one of the developers drove down Shopping Center Road and threatened to have my husband put in jail if we drove over his 4 foot wide strip of land that is adjacent to our property. So these developers are not nice people they are interested in only lining their own pockets with additional money. They couldn’t care less about the long term effects of their project.
Please do the traffic analysis and consider the impact on the residents in this community.
We might favor a scaled down development if the population density is less than or equal to the rest of EGR and includes adequate off street parking.
Please do not ruin our quaint village that is a safe place to raise our families.
