I think this space would be great to use as an auxiliary building for the high school or as a public park. Demolishing a historical building is the least preferred option, maintaining it as a public space for our land locked city is the most preferred option. Solving our problem with space at the high school at least for a piece or two of that overall puzzle would be great, it would maintain the vibrant feeling of being a school in a neighborhood and would allow for similar or even less traffic if we build better active-transport infrastructure so more kids and families can walk/bike/scooter safely from one building or area to the next. We have a chance to make this a unique, exciting and transformative campus – pioneering into the next generation, focused on sustainability, accessibility and connection for all.
