The main roads here are hard to cross. Within EGR, it is all residential. I like Wilcox park. Would like more green space, community garden, playgrounds, parks. High potential area.

If the property comes up for sale, I would absolutely love to see the buildings preserved (there is the school, rectory and convent). All are very solid and architecturally pleasing with varied period focal points. Perhaps condos, townhomes, or even a special EGR school (like a lab school). If the buildings are not for sale,

Just moved to the eastern most edge of East Grand Rapids (our backyard property line abuts to the Grand Rapids city limits) from the east coast about 16 months ago.

Living on a major gateway into Gaslight Village, I have a birdseye view to the traffic problems and safety concerns. Traffic heading to D&W is not necessarily local residents, and often travel at speeds rounding the corner that does not anticipate foot, bike and new electric modes of transportation to literally be everywhere including in

Part of the charm of EGR is the quaintness of Gaslight Village and the surrounding area including Reeds Lake. To make it even relevant for residents, and to encourage the sense of community so many people are seeking today, I suggest closing the roads to traffic eliminating traffic on all commercial streets (specifically Wealthy from
